A sweep in this series to finish off this week would be a great way to bounce back after last week.

Yeah, it would be nice to take this series.
ETSU is 29-21, but they did beat Kansas State and St. Johns (twice), both teams who were ranked about 30 at the time.

I expect the pitching to be its usual steady self, hopefully we can continue to put the bat to some balls and score some runs. A sweep would put us at 34 wins. 35 wins and regionals are a lock for any major conference school. And we end with two series (UW, Cal) we really should win...

etsu can mash they average 9 runs a game though I doubt they face the kind of pitching we have on a regular basis. Their best hitter hits 455 with 23 homers and 75 rbi's

I'm curious...what was the rationale behind the double switch that ended up with Marder out and McGough at SS? He's been there for 3 or 4 innings, so it's not like it was for situational pitching.

Anderson: no runs on four hits in seven and two thirds innings. Solid

I don't think ETSU has seen pitching as good as ours and will struggle to get runs this series. A series sweep would put Oregon right back on track and get them ready to finish out Pac-10 play strong.
