Re: California @ #21 Oregon (3 game series)
A loss today and the ducks don't really deserve to be considered anymore to host a regional. They haven't exactly been playing their best ball over the last few weeks.

There we go Marder! A bad throw by Cal helps us out a little. We gotta get Marder home.

Re: California @ #21 Oregon (3 game series)
Cal's freshman pitcher has given up one earned run . . . doing better than his 3.94 ERA. I really thought we were going to sweep Cal as poorly as they have been playing. Damn, damn, damn!!!

Other then the San Diego game Oregon's offense has been pretty poor and inconsistent as of late.

We scored 22 runs against UW last week and 29 the weekend before against ETSU.

I should have clarified, I meant against quality opponents.

You're right about the quality opponent part. If we get into a regional, we're going to need to get our offense back.

PAINFUL seeing us strand runners at third at least 3 innings.

Well that sucked! Frustrating to see us not take care of business for our last home series. Cal must be in disbelief that they came in and shut us down with their freshman pitcher.

Time to regroup and win these final 2 games before postseason. Pac-10 is tough, but the ducks picked the worst time of the season to start struggling.
