How many 1 run games have we lost this season?!? IIRC we lost the last 4 to osu by 1 run each game.... Brutal losing like that...

Yeah, not LaTempa's night. First poor outing from LaTempa since the Stanford series. Those damn Bay Area schools.

Last night we hit a bunch of hard balls directly at people, tonight we seem to be getting a ton of 3-0 or 3-1 counts and not taking advantage.

We might not make the postseason now. How frustrating would that be? What has changed the last few weeks with this team?

I'm not sure it's guaranteed. All of a sudden, the ducks are going to be towards the bottom of the pac-10 and haven't been playing good ball.

Our RPI is still good enought to make the 64 team tournament. Even if we lost our last 4 games, which it looks like we will, our we should still be in the top 45. Probably be a 3 seed somewhere. Which is actually better than being the 2 seed in Austin against TX.

The Ducks are going to end with a losing conference record and be a lower seeded team in regionals and with the recent play of the Ducks things are not looking good for advancing. I wonder if the long season has just worn down the guys since they have played such a difficult schedule. Regardless of how the season ends this has been a success for a 2nd year team. Horton himself didn't even think the post season was a possibility to begin the season. The future looks very bright for Ducks baseball!

You are simply reacting to a couple of losses, and not taking into account what the NCAA looks at when making selections. We have a good RPI, our SOS is solid, we have 37 wins and we play in a power conference. WE ARE IN THE NCAA TOURNAMENT. Rest easy.

And we've won 7 of our last 11 going into tonight

All of these facts make it seem certain that they'll make the NCAA Tournament. They won't be a high seed but they'll make some noise there if the pitching can get over this weekend.
