Are our pitchers just tired because it's the end of the season?

Cal's a good hitting team. Not many holes in the line-up, if at all. I think Jaynes said their 7/8/9 hitters are all over .320. Anderson pitched well Friday, LaTempa got lit-up, Thornton wasn't on the mark by any means but he settled down and kept us in it until E-Rod tied the game with his HR. Given LaTempa and Thornton's awesomeness last weekend against Washington, I don't think fatigue is as much of a factor as some good hitting met some good pitching this weekend, and the hitting won out.

Horton wanted 1 more win just to make sure of postseason, and the ducks got it. Nice way to end the regular season.

Ducks are in for sure now. I think they said they'll find out 9:30 but I'm not sure if they meant Eastern or Pacific time (wasn't paying close enough attention).
