Big loss with Paopao leaving the program. They've now lost their entire starting backcourt and a majority of their scoring from this past season. They're going to need to hit the transfer portal hard. Might be another rough season with so many new faces.

Bella Hamel the scoring guard from Lane CC transfers in. I imagine the plan is for her to help run the 2nd unit.

Big loss.

Gray is a 1-2
Bell is a 2-3
Sammy is a 2-3-4

You could see Gray, Bell or Hammel, Wagner, Grace, Philli as a starting line-up assuming they are all here next season. A very tall team.

Going to need to add 3-4 transfers (more if there are more losses to the portal). 2 of which, are guards and hopefully a couple that could break into that starting lineup. Need some quickness in the guard rotation too.

In Kelly's offense we need some guards who can shoot the 3 ball around 40% of the time or more. Without that threat the inside game is pretty much toast as every team was letting oregon shoot the tre at the end of the year and double teaming the 2 inside players. Going to be an interesting couple of years for the WBB team.

Rogers has withdrawn from the WNBA Draft but it sounds like Oregon likely won't be where she lands.

I see Bella Hamel shot 42.3% from 3 last year and has a real knack for rebounding.

She also had great rebounding numbers for a 5'9" guard. Guards who get the kind of rebounding numbers she does usually have a great feel for positioning and a ton of hustle and that is more likely to carry over into the Pac then players who were just tall compared to the competition in high school.

Still doubtful to be P12 level, unless we have plummeted to last place in the conference. Which is not out of the realm of possibility at this point.

Looking at the 2020 class, a lot of players really found their game this NCAA tournament/season and is turning out to be a VERY strong class.
It's heartbreaking our recruiting class just didn't work out.

1 Paige Bueckers
2 Angel Reese
3 Cameron Brink
4 Caitlin Clark
5 Kamilla Cardoso
6 Diamond Johnson
7 Hailey Van Lith
8 Sydney Parrish
9 Priscilla Williams
10 Deja Kelly
11Te-Hina Paopao
12Sarah Andrews
13 Dalayah Daniels
14 Lexi Donarski
15 Madison Scott
16 Hannah Gusters
17 Kylee Watson
18 Olivia Cochran
19 Maddie Scherr
20 Madeline Westbeld
21 Sasha Goforth
22 Angela Dugalic

Plus none of the recruits coming in are in the Top 20 this coming year. We have our hands full folks.

If I were throwing NIL money at players in the transfer pool iI would start with Lexi Donarski Big-12 defensive player of the year. Shooting can go hot and cold, defense is there every night.

So my targets would be Paopao (yeah I'd try to get her back.)
Donarski

Point Guards in order:
Kennedy Fauntleroy from Georgetown
Curry from Cal
Jada Walker from Kentucky

I might also consider Paris Clark. She didn't have the expected year but the athletic potential there is sky high.

For Bigs
Alanna Micheaux from Minnesota
Camille Hobby NC State
Destiny Adams UNC

And likely we will get none of those but perhaps some players not yet announced in the portal.

I think we should look at coaches who are in the transfer portal.

Oregon has made contact with DePaul F Aneesah Morrow, who's averaged over 20 ppg in her first two seasons.
