It's REALLY hard to get excited about our schedule coming out because I don't know whose good lol. I'm pretty new to college baseball so outside of the Pac-10 and maybe a small handful of powerhouses, I never know which programs are good or not.

The non conference schedule looks to be a lot easier than last seasons. Of course conference play is going to be tough but the team should make a deeper run in the the tournament this year.

I'd probably call this year's schedule a bit tougher. Wichita State and San Diego four 4 each is no picnic, and are very, very good teams on a national level. Those 8 games > our season-opening single game trip through California and Fresno. Long Beach State is comparable to Nevada last year, and St. Mary's is better than Seattle U. BYU won't be a cakewalk.

And OSU isn't even in the top 40. Well that didn't take long for Oregon to become a beast baseball team either.

LOL seriously. Horton has just dominated everything in his path so far. The guys about as good as it gets, turning a non existent team, literally, into a top 10 team in 2 seasons.

It's amazing that he's been able to get top-20, even a couple top-10, recruiting classes to a start-up program. It really shows how much of a draw Horton and Pac-10 baseball are.

Now if we can just sweep the beavis or at least win more than we lose against them then I will be happy.
