Re: 2011 Schedule is out
It's REALLY hard to get excited about our schedule coming out because I don't know whose good lol. I'm pretty new to college baseball so outside of the Pac-10 and maybe a small handful of powerhouses, I never know which programs are good or not.

Re: 2011 Schedule is out
The non conference schedule looks to be a lot easier than last seasons. Of course conference play is going to be tough but the team should make a deeper run in the the tournament this year.

Re: 2011 Schedule is out
I'd probably call this year's schedule a bit tougher. Wichita State and San Diego four 4 each is no picnic, and are very, very good teams on a national level. Those 8 games > our season-opening single game trip through California and Fresno. Long Beach State is comparable to Nevada last year, and St. Mary's is better than Seattle U. BYU won't be a cakewalk.

And OSU isn't even in the top 40. Well that didn't take long for Oregon to become a beast baseball team either.duckgrad99 wrote:http://www.baseballnews.com/polls/divI/ ... lldivI.htm
Ducks ranked 9th in this preseason poll.

LOL seriously. Horton has just dominated everything in his path so far. The guys about as good as it gets, turning a non existent team, literally, into a top 10 team in 2 seasons.UOducksTK1 wrote:And OSU isn't even in the top 40. It's amazing that he's been able to get top-20, even a couple top-10, recruiting classes to a start-up program. It really shows how much of a draw Horton and Pac-10 baseball are.dthomas=ddixon wrote:LOL seriously. Horton has just dominated everything in his path so far. Now if we can just sweep the beavis or at least win more than we lose against them then I will be happy.
