Cal has had a very solid baseball program, its very suprising that they would drop one of thier more successful sports.

Cal baseball was good, young, and could smash the ball. There's going to be a lot of West Coast programs benefiting from a slew of transfers. A Cal friend of mine told me they were the youngest team in the Pac-10, surprisingly younger than we were, but I'm far too lazy to try to back that claim up. Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if one or two ended up in Eugene.
