Game called after 5 Ducks win 5-1...
I'm not sure what kind of baseball program Santa Clara has but its impressive for Oregon to be .500 still 12 games into their inaugural season. Next up Nevada...

After having a record of 3-6 and looking awful at the plate, this team really stepped it up in these last 3 games. I'm happy to be 6-6 right now. Look at what other teams in the pac-10 have done in comparison.

Turned out to be a great weekend for the ducks with the bats showing up along with the pitching. On the topic of Santa Clara, Rivals.com had them picked to finish 3rd this year in the WCC, with four 1st team WCC players. Santa Clara is also the school that Mike Stutes went to first after high school and later transfered to OSU.

I really hope I can get out to a baseball game this year. I'll probably go to a few at PGE park.

To be .500 after playing a very quality schedule is just amazing. Credit to the players and Horton. Compared to most inaugural seasons for teams in any sport, so far this is going really well
