This will be the 8th NCG that the SEC will be in and up until now the SEC has never lost one.
So this game will be a lot of first…1) first time a SEC team loses in the NCG 2) first time two teams from the same conference plays for the BCS title 3) LSU will have a shot to be the first to win three. And we tie Ohio State with BCS NCG appearances….need to get there two more times to take the lead. Damn Oklahoma has been there 4 times.
