Oregon didn't look all that sharp coming out of halftime and that's really what allowed UW to take the lead for good. Also, a lot of boneheaded plays and poor calls didn't help. Anyways, not a bad season even though this one stings a bit.

Solid season from the ducks. I still don't like the fact that these two teams were on the same side of the bracket.

I hope Wroten and Ross go pro. Washington would take a huge step back in my opinion.

Washington just outplayed Oregon. When it comes to the fundamentals, Washington did a far better job. Oregon has been shooting so well lately I wonder if they forgot they needed to play defense. The defense was just bad, too much starring at the ball, horrible defensive rotations, out of position too much, and too many second chance points. The other end wasn't much better at times. Oregon came out in the second half playing selfish basketball. Oregon moved the ball around so well in the first half, but that stopped in the second half at times. Devoe Joseph unfortunately may have been a big part of the problem. Oh well, he's done far more good than bad this season, he deserves a big thanks from all Duck fans, but tonight he wasn't much of a help. Still a fun season though. Good season Ducks, you made Duck fans proud!

It didn't end up costing the Ducks, but how could they miss that traveling call on Wroten? I hate that these refs impact the game so much. Either call something or don't. Instead they just seem to blow the whistle when they aren't sure.

To me, he seemed to kind of get out of control just before he got to the basket. He really should have done like a jumpstop and shot a nice little point-blank shot instead of trying to get over to the left side of the basket.

That really should have been called but it didn't cost Oregon anything since it led to N'Diaye getting his 4th foul on a charge.

Have to say, I loved seeing Altman's fire. He was way into his team tonight.

There were some breakdowns on defense, but for the most part Washington just didn't give the game away like they did in Eugene. They have more talent and had the home court advantage, so I'm not that surprised with the outcome.

Very crappy way to end the season, but you can't blame everything on the refs. Oregon did a terrible job on the defensive boards. Tony Woods is a mediocre rebounder, despite being 6'11. I definitely expect the coaches to work with him on boxing out. The offense was nice, but Oregon needs him to be a defensive/rebounding presence.

Joseph has produced all year long, but he just didn't have it tonight. Washington is a very athletic team and their length seemed to bother him. Joseph also struggled defensively, due to his small stature. Wroten was able to overpower Joseph.

It sucks that Olu doesn't have another year of eligibility. The guy is one of the hardest working players I've seen at Oregon. He battles for every rebound, is extremely physical, plays defense with his feet, and is able to use his quickness to create for himself in the post.

Thought Carlos Emory was way too timid. I don't think Washington had anyone who could guard him. Emory needed to be more aggressive on the offensive end. I thought he did a really nice job on the defensive end though.

I know Wroten is ultra talented, but I think Washington would be better off having Abdul Gaddy run the point. Wroten has extremely low basketball IQ and tends to play out of control. Abdul Gaddy is a much better decision maker and is still a talented kid and is a solid defensive player. I really hope Terrence Ross goes to the NBA. Ross is Washington's best all around player. Can score from anywhere on the court, can post up, and is a solid rebounder for a guard.

Wilcox is a great shooter. If Wroten and Ross both declare for the draft, expect Wilcox to lead UW in scoring next year.

Overall, a nice season. The team may regress a bit with key losses in Joseph, Sim, Olu, Nared. Oregon had a lot of depth this year.

Agreed with regards to Gaddy, he was awesome at setting up the offense tonight and played tough defense as usual. Wroten is great in isolation, but not really the type of player to run a team.

This was the deepest team that Oregon has had since probably the 2007 Elite 8 squad. I still think the deepest team Oregon ever had was the 2002 team.
