Hate be an "I told you so" dude, but I am going to anyway. Following early games by ASU, I posted new thread indicating that I was un-impressed with what I was seeing from Burfict and suggested he might not be a first rounder. He loafed, was out of position, and just looked out of it most of the game. A few here called me crazy that someone would surely take him in the first round because he was a beast...etc. Boy have times changed for the kid. Such a shame to see that much talent wasted.

Another article stated that Burfict showed up unmotivated, out of shape, and overweight, but left with a new perspective and focus... Wouldn't it have been productive to arrive at the combine with those things?

What decent agent fails to help prepare his prospect to ensure his own future income?
