Mariners win with John Jaso walkoff sac fly to give the mariners a mlb high four game winning streak, now gives mariners 14 out of their 21 games. Started with seven game winning streak, then lost six out of seven and now won six out of seven. Hopefully this will be the start of a bright future for them in the next couple years.

yep, the roller coaster continues. hard to know what's coming next, but since 2004 the m's have had a bad habit of falling off hard near the end of the season... so it's nice to see some fight in this bunch.

swept the twins, now sitting at 58-64. glad these kids won't be starting off their mariner careers with another 61-101 suck fest.

Their pitching has been especially outstanding.

8.5 back lol. Honestly, there's still a chance. We'd basically have to win about 28-30 out of our last 40 to make it. And even then, there's no guarantees.

last offseason, the angels spent huge money bringing in the best bat (pujols) and arm (wilson) on the free agent market, putting together a rotation with four upper level arms and a line-up stocked with multiple all stars.

last offseason, the mariners biggest free agent acquisition was spring training invitee kevin "i'm 40" millwood.

as of august 20, seattle is only four games back of anaheim after another win over the twins.

win their 6th in a row tonight against Indians 3 and a half back of angels. It makes you think they are a couple bats away from contending

Amazing that they have a better record than phillies and almost same as the angels and red sox, I can't wait to see their three prized young starting pitchers hopefully in a couple weeks.

and 3-16 in chicago since 07, this team is playing unbelievable right now. Saunders, Jaso and Thames are killing it offensively and Felix and Vargas leading the way for the starting rotation.
