Whatever the sport may be, it is always nice to see the Ducks come out on top.

Okay, so a while back I got called out for being a punk and "making fun" of this sport.....I guess I am little confused, and I would appreciate it if any of you guys/gals that actually follow this sport can explain to me the difference between Disc Golf and Ultimate Frisbee...I always thought they were the same thing apparently I was wrong
Again

I don't follow the sports and don't know if you are really wanting a serious answer, but here you go...MerDuck wrote:Okay, so a while back I got called out for being a punk and "making fun" of this sport.....I guess I am little confused, and I would appreciate it if any of you guys/gals that actually follow this sport can explain to me the difference between Disc Golf and Ultimate Frisbee...I always thought they were the same thing apparently I was wrong
As the name implies, Disc Golf is similar to golf, only played with a frisbee.

Ultimate Frisbee is a limited-contact team sport in which teams score points by passing a frisbee to teammates in the opposing endzone, somewhat along the lines of football or rugby.

That's a pretty good description of both...I used to play disc golf a bit when I lived in Eugene and it's actually a lot of fun. Much like golf but you can play a round in an hour or so

Now I really feel like an idiot...I guess I did know the difference I just forgot what ultimate Frisbee was! I heard the story on disc golf, and saw a few pictures and I was like isn't that just Frisbee? Thanks for the clarification, although I say go ducks beat em all, I am truly surprised that there is this big a following for these sports even if they are just club sports...it's just a little surprising I guess
