Having a closer of Sherfy's caliber is huge. Oregon plays a lot of close games that come down to the ninth inning, and having a shutdown closer was the difference between last year's team and the disappointing team from the previous season. He can be wild at times, but he normally gets the job done.
Jake Reed also is a very promising starter moving forward. He doesn't throw hard, but his command is typically very good.
