Re: Loyola Marymount @ Oregon (Series tied 1-1)
7 hits in two games... Heineman and JJ with 5 of those hits. So basically outside of two guys, we've had two hits in 18 innings. Yikes.
Come on bats! Thorpe was amazing, might be our #1 pitcher by the end of the year.

Okay - on to today's game -
Watching the stream from GoDucks gives me a headache (hekry-jerky flow of the video -- production values = available $), so I hope at least the audio will be available.
That said, I always appreciate those posters who update scores and situations.
It's a beautiful day here on the coast - should be sunny al game long.
GO DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Offense needs to start picking it up. They had the same issues last season.

Re: Loyola Marymount @ Oregon (Series tied 1-1)
Big series win for the Ducks. They were down 1-0 in the 6th, and then they really broke it open. The dagger was the error on the pitchout, and then the balk that followed that brought in 2 runs. Sherfy loaded the bases in the 9th, and I'm sure it helped him gather himself to have those insurance runs. Now Oregon plays Portland on Tuesday and Cal State Fullerton next weekend. They shouldn't look ahead to CSF because Oregon has had their problems with the Pilots over the years. They are a sneaky mid-week team that has had success versus Oregon.

well said. portland loves to beat us, and have done so plenty in the past. i'm not sure gold's status, but if he can't go i'd sick jordan spencer on them. he threw a no-no against the pilots last year.

Pretty awesome to see our starting staff pitch pretty well without Jones. Really good sign, I like what I see from Irvin too.

Good start to the season. On a side note, looks like Oregontrack was right. The Beavers have to be the favorite in the conference and could definitely win it all.
