Casey Benson commits

Post by buckmarkduck »

Looks like a great start to 2014, with 3* pg Benson committing today according to multiple sites. He rated the 26 best pg and had offers from WSU, Asu, Stanford, CU, SC and UU.

My friend told me he committed to Oregon, but I can't seem to find anything to confirm it.

Last year Benson was the Arizona POY, he might end up being a bit underrated.

Really nice pick up. Oregon desperately needed a pg in this class. Seems to move really well without the ball, has great handles, excellent size (6'3), and is a good passer.
“If everybody in this room just want to be real with themselves, this game could have went either way,” he said. “We turned the ball over a lot. We beat ourself. Just be real with yourself right now. We beat ourself.”

Love lefty guards, like what I see from Benson. Good addition.

So that leaves, I think, 3 spots left for the 2014 class. Oregon is in on a lot of top players so hopefully Altman can pull in a good class.

Looks like a great pickup. Good shooter, can pass well, good with either hand, how'd this guy fall so far
in the ESPN rankings??

Rivals has him as a top 150 player, so I'll just go by that.
