Re: Oregon @ Arizona (Thu-Sat)
and the #2 rpi in the nation. they lost two games in corvallis on walk-offs.
we've bounced back nicely from the utah series, i feel a series like that would have sent us down a shame spiral of losing the last few years. but we've won 5 straight.
tucson will be tough, though. try not to get swept.

Re: Oregon @ Arizona (Thu-Sat)
GREAT win. peterson battled through some errors and threw 6 nice innings, he's been in one of the better grooves we've ever seen from an oregon starting pitcher. arizona, being the team they are, battled back a few times but we uncharacteristically added a pair of insurance runs in both the 8th and 9th innings. usually we strive to hang on by the skin of our teeth.
so nice having yovan as closer, pitching the 8th AND 9th if necessary.

agreed. bad defense, and we left a LOT of guys on base. just couldn't come up with a big hit in any of the first five innings.
