Seems like an odd match to me. I see Romar as a let the inmates run the asylum type of coach and I see Sean Miller as a heavy-handed coach.

I think he's being hired more for his recruiting prowess than his coaching ability.UofDuck wrote:Seems like an odd match to me. I see Romar as a let the inmates run the asylum type of coach and I see Sean Miller as a heavy-handed coach.

Is Arizona having issues recruiting?? They have consistently signed Top 5 classes without him.
This just seems weird to me.

You can never have too many good recruiters.northbeachsf wrote:Is Arizona having issues recruiting?? They have consistently signed Top 5 classes without him.

As bad as Romar had been the last two years, he did land the top player in the country two years running. Any coach will welcome a guy who can do that.Phenom wrote:You can never have too many good recruiters.northbeachsf wrote:Is Arizona having issues recruiting??
