Re: Official Bye Week Thread
There are lots of teams ahead of Oregon that could drop a game this week. Among them:gofightingducks wrote:I am rooting for any teams ahead of the Ducks to lose so Oregon can move up in the polls over their bye week! I am looking for a Beaver loss (no explanation needed) and a Washington loss so they don't get any momentum. I am looking for USC to struggle so they don't get any momentum as well, if they lost that would be OK as well. I would rather take the easiest route to the PAC-10 title than a Gameday appearance!
#5 Boise St. @ Tulsa
#11 Iowa @ Wisconsin
#20 Oklahoma @ #3 Texas (Bradford cleared to play?)
#8 Cinncinnati @ #21 S. Florida
Colorado St. @ #12 TCU
#4 Va. Tech. @ #19 Ga. Tech.
#22 S. Carolina @ #2 Alabama
Okay, some of those might be stretching it (eg. S. Carolina), but in some of those games the home field edge could be the difference.

Tannen just predicted that if Masoli is healthy and good to go for UW, Oregon will score 27-28 points by half-time on his radio show...

I'd say things went pretty good for the ducks this bye week. They should move up a couple spots in each poll.

It will start out cloudy for the Huskies but shortly after kickoff they will experience a lightning storm!
