'Twas the week of the Duck game to be played on Montlake
Everyone was still wonderin'if Jake was a fake
The records will show you which team is on top
As the Purple nut-lickers prepared for their flop

All of the Dawg fans were under their beds
Pulling the covers up over their heads
Another defeat at the hands of the Ducks
Will have them all muttering "man our team still sucks"

The day of the game there arose such a clatter
If Masoli can't play will it really matter
They showed up for the game dressed in purple and gold
Predicting a victory and acting so bold

They tell us that Locker with his cannon arm
Would do more damage than would his guile and charm
They said he will kill us by throwing the bomb
Then after the victory he'll french kiss his mom

The game might be closer than most folks would think
But the fact still remains that the huskies still stink
The Husky rush defense is a bad as it gets
Like trying to catch farts in old fishing nets

After the loss the dawg fans would riot
Pissed that the Ducks kept the damn siren quiet
The Ducks won it with LaMichael instead of with Blount
The huskies were screaming "Bab's your still a c*nt"

Off into the night the Ducks disappeared
Having taken six straight from a team never feared
The Duck fans were chanting hello B C S!!!
The dawg fans were griping "who's in charge of this mess"

We toasted our team and their latest success
The win was too easy we'd all have to confess
Next year in Eugene the result's likely the same
Now seven in a row with dawg fans laying the blame

After the crying had ended and the tears had dried up
The husky faithful looked towards the Apple cup
They still have a chance to have a good season
They still play Wazzu and thats a good reason

Man, this is my second most anticipated game of the season (besides Boise St.). This makes me want to go to sleep now and wake up on Saturday!
