i agree. loyola marymount will be lucky to win 15-20 games this year, and it took everything we had to squeak out a series win.
baseball is baseball, and by that i mean sometimes you have to let things play out and coaches can't be too quick to make changes buuuuuuuut... if we want to be competitive this year i think we need to move yovan to the starting rotation right now. parker kelly has been extraordinary in relief this year and can close games for us. nelson and somers should hopefully be up for set-up jobs. i think we need to start mercer/yovan/stringer and see where it gets us until the non-con is over. having an all american closer like yovan will do us no good if we are unable to get him the ball with the lead.
