Yup, also fun to see him defending guys like Harden and LeBron on the switches.

Love watching Bell whenever he gets in the game. Really wish the Blazers had drafted him instead of Swanigan. The fact that Golden State was able to pick him up for 'cash considerations' is unbelievable.

Has there been a more promising rookie defender this season? As TK pointed out, in the playoffs he's gotten some incredible 1 on 1 matchups and hasn't looked out of place against the games best.Phalanx wrote:Love watching Bell whenever he gets in the game. I knew Portland would regret not taking him as well as my SA Spurs. GS got a steal with him, it just sucks it had to be that annoying GS team.

I think he fits really well in GS. Good to see him get minutes in the finals, even better to see him do so well with those minutes.

Speaking of the finals.....LeBron James on Kevin Durant: “You knew he was built for greatness from the moment he was drafted. ... I mean, everyone knew that except for Portland, I guess”

He would’ve done the same to Portland that he did to OKC.northbeachsf wrote:Speaking of the finals.....LeBron James on Kevin Durant: “You knew he was built for greatness from the moment he was drafted. ... I mean, everyone knew that except for Portland, I guess”

Get them to the Finals? Doesn't sound all that bad to me.OregonFan4Life wrote:He would’ve done the same to Portland that he did to OKC.northbeachsf wrote:Speaking of the finals.....LeBron James on Kevin Durant: “You knew he was built for greatness from the moment he was drafted. ... There would have been a year pr two of peak Roy with KD on that squad. Oh well, maybe the 3rd time is a charm when it comes to picking big men #1 lol

Re: Nice game for Jordan Bell
Hearing Van Gumby talk about how he would take advantage of a rookie and switch him onto everyone he wanted shows exactly why he's not coaching anymore.
Jordan is limited offensively, but he's a really solid passer and screener(thanks Dana Altman). Defensively, I think it's telling that Lue has gone away from getting Jordan switched onto LeBron as the series has gone on.
Thought he even did a good job on Harden of not fouling Harden. Gave up some buckets, but no 3's or FT's against him, which was key.
Only guy he had a really hard time with was Chris Paul and to some extent Eric Gordon. Strong, ultra quick, powerful guards.

True, but nothing worse then being close to a championship, smelling it, wanting it, then losing all chance at it. While it was very exciting to see Oregon in the natty twice, it’s painful to see how close they were and now are so far from reaching that coveted title.Tray Dub wrote:Get them to the Finals?
