21-1 ducks lead top seven, no homers for ducks and 3 errors for cougs, just a lot of hits for ducks. I don't know where the offense finally came for after all these years, but it sure is nice to see, kinda like the Mariners.

ducks win 21-3 and beavers and huskies are both losing late, would be great night to go along with softball winning at #1 UCLA.

Re: Oregon @ Washington State (Fri-Sun)
Horton recruited some better athletes/players and changed his S&C program after last season, resulting in a much more Pac-12 caliber offensive lineup. They struggle at times due to some inexperience but they've got some potential if they stick around and continue developing.thomas time wrote:21-1 ducks lead top seven, no homers for ducks and 3 errors for cougs, just a lot of hits for ducks. Ducks lose the final game of the series 8-7 on a walk-off wild pitch in the 10th inning after tying the game in T9 with a grand slam.

It must have been quite the shift in philosophy for Horton. I will give him credit for trying.
And brutal to lose after hitting a GS.
And an 44 Minute first inning?! I would hate to hear what WSU coach had to say about that after the game

Re: Oregon @ Washington State (Fri-Sun)
Horton's biggest problem over the years has been sustained recruiting. He can go several classes without identifying guys who will hit at this level. But his junior and freshman classes are full of strong bats.
