Oregon beats top ranked UCLA, 4-3. Nice job ladies!

A great win, home runs by Utecht to put them in front, then the next inning Cid gets one they' end up needing. Bruins come close to a home run in the bottom of the 7th but it's caught at the wall. Tey do get on out to make it a 1 run game, but Dale gets a K to end it.

big time win for a down season, to beat #1 team at their place. It would be nice to get one of the next two games and win the series somehow.

I guess the team isn't dead yet. We'll have to see if they can keep the rest of the series close.

With only one pitcher it will be tough. Dail does throw a lot of pitches in a game. Come Sunday she will have to be exhausted. Love her gutsy attitude. I love these girls and whatever success they have. I think they will surprise a few more this year. Help's coming next year. Hopefully another quality pitcher besides Makena and Ariel.

Some unfortunate fielding opens the door for the Bruins and they take game two, 8-3.

Sure is! We have 3 quality recruits for next year. Does anyone know if we have any other prospects? Softball recruiting obviously doesn't seem to be a hot topic.

There's 4 signed recruits plus ASU transfer C Terra McGowan, who's redshirting this season. With the way softball recruiting goes, it's going to be hard to find any top-level recruits this late in the game. Likely means they're going to have to hit the transfer market again.

Thanks. So who is the 4th signed recruit? I only know of the 3 in the news archives on Go Ducks.

Oregon keeps it close most of the game before UCLA has a big 6th inning to get the 8-1 win over the Ducks.
