Anyone else cringe at that "New Bol Bol headline" kind of like a jinx. Probably just me gun shy on our luck of getting just partial seasons from last 2 5 star big men.greenyellow wrote:

Let's go! So nice to move passed the days of the Kyle Singlers and Kevin Loves leaving for other schools. Good job coaches!!

Interested to see he how me matches up with Isaac Johnson. (who looks like he's put on some weight in Instagram posts.) Both those guys when their frames get bigger should give us some nasty low post work that we haven't had in forever. Since we are always going for shot blockers or stretch 4s at the those positions.

Don't see him becoming a low-post constant. Maybe on some pick and rolls that put him in the post against smaller players.
I think he's in the model of Kristaps Porzingis. Outside scorer with some dribble capability to take big guys that come out to try to defend.

Kid has a frame that looks like he could add some quality beef to it.

We'll see if he has another growth spurt but for big guys in basketball, I think they should all become swimmers for their cardio to give their joints a break. Adding 20 pounds to his frame over the next year and half should be pretty doable.woundedknees wrote:Kid has a frame that looks like he could add some quality beef to it.

Top 50 player from Utah we signed in 2018 that's gone on a Mormon mission for two years. We'll enroll for the 2021 season. But who knows. Maybe Dante will still be around then.RanDux wrote:Who is Isaac Johnson?mattc94 wrote:Interested to see he how me matches up with Isaac Johnson. He has unorthodox form on his jumper/set shot, but whatever works, I guess.

Re: QUACK! Bittle commits to Oregon
I imagine his release point will get higher as guys "karl malone" him in practice for keeping it low. I noticed he doesn't have that problem when shooting from inside the paint/low block.Everythingsducky wrote:He has unorthodox form on his jumper/set shot, but whatever works, I guess.
