Too bad probably at least another year of Stanford getting better and nabbing top recruits.

To me, this was a no brainer for Harbaugh. Why would Kansas be a better job than Stanford?

I agree, other than the money it is a lateral move at best.

Easier recruiting because of academic standards and the Big 12 North is a bunch of crap. No round robin. I would think that it would be a hell of a lot easier to win at Kansas than Stanford. Plus, money in Kansas goes quite a bit further than Palo Alto.duckgrad99 wrote:To me, this was a no brainer for Harbaugh. Why would Kansas be a better job than Stanford?
Personally, I wouldn't blame him for leaving Stanford for Kansas.

His wife is a KU fan, hence the speculation. Wouldn't make much sense outside of that.

Great move by Kansas by the way. Gill turned around the worst program in the nation in 2 years and got them to a bowl for the first time in 57 years plus he's a good guy and a player's coach which they need to distance themselves from that slob Mangino.
