At least we should have one of our teams in the news now for good reasons.

I enjoyed this game. It was a good win for the Ducks. LaTempa pitched well. Serna was awesome! (Especially the Top of the 9th when he tripled and scored on a fielding error). And Gagnier got to close tonight. However, O-Zone cut off the feed before the Bottom of the 9th, so I couldn't listen to the last half inning. They better fix this. Dammit!

KC is becoming one of our leaders. Obviously as a SS that's a natural leader position, but he's also our leadoff hitter, which is big for us.Duckster wrote:I enjoyed this game. And ya big props to LaTempa. Our pitching staff already looks strong. It'll be interesting to see how our other rotational pitchers fare. Pepperdine and Loyola Marymount will be a good test.

Let's hope the great hitting is here to stay. It was so hard to see the great pitching be not supported at all last year. Looks like that won't be the case this year. Especially since the supposed best power hitter, Kaupang, is currently 0-10. Once he gets on track we should be golden.

It's his first year of Division 1 baseball so he's going to take some time to catch up to the pitching. As long as he starts hitting by league, we'll be fine.dthomas=ddixon wrote:Let's hope the great hitting is here to stay. It was so hard to see the great pitching be not supported at all last year.
