Women blew away the field. GREAT two days for them, who win their first title on the women's since the XC team won in '87.
The Duck men did a great job of making up all the points they lost when Rupp left after last year's title. If Centrowitz would have run (he didn't, for unknown reasons; perhaps saving him for the outdoor season) and LaMichael would have run the 60, it's possible that UO could have overtaken Florida for first place. Alas.

The T&F/XC have now won 4 national title in the past 4 years. They've also have 2nd place finishes in I think 4 other national championship events. They are truly the elite program of the entire athletic department now.oregontrack wrote:Women blew away the field. And they are so young, the women especially, with more top notch recruits on the way!greenyellow wrote:The T&F/XC have now won 4 national title in the past 4 years. Congrats to the women for getting a championship. Seems like the ducks men have finished top 2 every year for the last few years. Crazy how dominant we've become.

And to think Lananna said he is still building depth up in all of the classes. It would be scary if Oregon could somehow manage to find some jumpers and sprinters, which they usually don't recruit and just basically pull in FB players to help in those roles.UOducksTK1 wrote:Congrats to the women for getting a championship.
