Both QBs have very nice touch though on their deep passes. I'm impressed with Mannion. He has a very nice touch. Him and Wheaton have great chemistry.

I agree that TD pass to Wheaton could not have been more perfect. I looked like that DB had pretty good coverage. I cant lie I wish we would have picked up Wheaton he is a true Baller!!

On a side note Both QBs are getting a ton of time to throw

Run it up the middle and get stuffed, then five step dropbacks on 2nd and 3rd down. Why not open up the run game and aggressive D with some screens or bubbles?

edit: oh that's why. Franklin can't catch.

Lol that's not fair, it's hard to catch with your face! He should try his hands next time

I liked the earlier play to Cooks. He caught it in stride and didn't slow down all the way to paydirt.

Good for the Beavs, I always enjoy the civil war that much more when it means something.

I know it's earlier, but Civil War is going to be a good game.

Very very impressed with OSU thus far. Mannion had his moments but he still makes like 3-4 just awful throws.

UCLA didn't do themselves any favors by basically giving the Beavs touchdowns due to penalties. Beavs capitalized for sure but their own radio people (we were driving up to the Duck game while listening) were worried during the 3rd quarter that the Beavs would cough up the win.

A true test will be when they play AZ this next week cuz the Wildcats are going to want to thump on someone after their loss to us. I'm hoping AZ tears them up..

And good call on picking the Beavers, TK1. I'm certainly not shocked, just a little surprised.

While it certainly looks as if OSU is "back" again this year to being a good team, I can't help but note that they have played only two games, each of which they had an extra week to prepare for that their opponent did not. I don't think there is any question that that is an advantage if one were to find the statistics on outcomes where one team had a bye the previous week and the other team didn't. Yes, next week at Arizona will be interesting. One thing the Beavers definitely have in their favor right now is confidence.

OS is playing very good defense. I am still not sold on their offense, but their defense is for real, IMO.

Their lack of a running game is going to hurt them.
