With the euros, there is a backlog with the players who were drafted earlier like sabas and didnt come over until later. If all were put in this draft would be way too loaded.
Well spread the Euros throughout the years. Keep the players that actually entered in.
I appreciate your perepective, but it creates a sense of uncertainty when exactly players will come out. Making it harder to plan out exactly who will be coming out when. Will Shaq come out in 92 like normal, or will he stay until his senior season or jump early. If you knew he was coming always in 92 and you wanted him bad enough you would stock up on picks. With the uncertanty, is may be an older Motombo or even none of the above and have a down draft. It creates more variability within the draft classes and more unique classes. This one, however, will have most every name that was normally in the draft.
How how is the way you're doing it any more fair? Keep it the way it was. Some classes will naturally be more loaded than other.

I don't care either way, I was just wondering when we get to see who is available. Is there a certain time during the season?

This was one of my favorite parts the one time I was in a sim league. The same way not all players are gonna turn out the way they did in real life, the players entering the draft can change too. It can get real crazy as we go into the late 90's when all the high schoolers were jumping, so many could decide to go to college for a year or even more!!

Is there a sim day we have targeted for when the exact list will be presented with ratings and such?

Thank you for your work on this Zyme. We are trying to make it as real as possible. Back in 1989 GMs did not know how good Shaq would be or that exactly three years later he'd come out. This will be like being a real GM. We got some intel and have a decent idea of who will probably come out but not know for sure until draft declaration day.

Plus, with likely Divac, Sabas and David Robinson being in this class it's a big bonus to the rest of the regular 89 class. This draft class is going to be way too loaded if every Euro and draftee gets thrown into it.

Rimas Kurtinaitis, of Real Madrid, was approached for comment in today at the team's practice facility regarding his Lithuanian SSR country mates, Sabonis' and Marciulionis', entry into the NBA draft. "They are wonderful players and any team would be better for having them. It is too bad that I wont be joining them in the draft this year as my contract with Real is barely dry. That said, I wouldn't mind playing with or against them. If a team offered, I don't see why I would not consider it. NBA is the where the best in the world are." This naturally has created concern around Madrid camp as they are concerned about losing Europe's top deep threat. He does have a buyout, but it is reportedly very high. Depending on your source, his it stands between 350 and 700 million pesetas, or around 5-10 million dollars.

If you draft a Euro and he doesn't come over do you still hold his rights?

Today's news isn't ground shaking but underclassman Nick Anderson indicated today that he will be entering the NBA draft. While not considered a top prospect, he has shown flashes of immense potential. One of the main concerns is, with him coming out early, might be a lack of maturity. Given most all of his peers are seniors, it will be interesting to see how he responds against much technically developed peers. His his chiseled physique with natural gifts have scouts drooling on what they might do if they get him to player their "perfect system" for his physical tools.

Lt. jg. David Robinson has made the news wire today. A news release has come out of John Lehman's, Secretary of the Navy, office that Robinson's commitment to the navy will not be deferred, but that he can be allowed to serve out his duty training Reserve officers and providing recruiting services during any potential periods of protracted time during the time. This to award Robinson the ability to serve on the mainland and not be commissioned as an unrestricted line officer paves the way for him to enter the NBA draft and play in the NBA. The two time consensus Naismith and Wooden Awards is expected to enter but could not be reached for comment.
