So after a 4-hour delay, Xavier makes quick work of Vandy and will now face Oregon at about 7 PM PST.

Xavier wins. Didn't hear them say what the start time would be for Oregon/Xavier though.

55 minutes after the end of the Xavier-Vandy game, so I think right around 7:00 p.m. PT.

Oregon baseball just tweeted that the first pitch is scheduled for 7:15.

Looks like Bryce Boettcher will get the start at CF over Colby Shade, who might be still have some pain after getting hit in the wrist late in the game yesterday.

The long day should benefit us from not having to have played and then stayed ready throughout the delay.

Ducks allow a baserunner on a Cowley error but nothing more in T1.

Ducks get their first two runners on via walk but a FC and double play end any threat. Tied at 0 headed to T2.

Grinsell allows a single and a walk but also has 3 Ks to end the T2. He's now up to 5 Ks. Ducks' turn in the B2 tied at 0.

Ducks strand one on 2B. Going to T3 with no score still.

Grinsell allows a leadoff double but strands on him at 3B after a groundout and 2 Ks. Still no score entering B3.

Nice job to get out of the inning with another stellar play by Ceballos at 3rd on a sac bunt followed by 2 K's with a runner on 3rd.

Now for the bats to get going for a 4+ run inning.

Bats are cold for Oregon so far. No offense for Oregon.
