This is all rumors at this point. It doesn't really make sense for Mark Stoops to make such a move. Go from 1 SEC school with low expectations to another SEC school with unreasonable expectations. Unless the pay is 50-100% higher, I don't see why he would make such a move.

If Stoops is indeed confirmed as ATM's new coach, then apparently Troy's HC Jon Sumrall will be Kentucky's next head coach.

He will undoubtedly make more, and it’s much easier to recruit to A&M than Kentucky, in addition to much more in NIL resources to help with getting guys on campus. I would assume he thinks difficulty in getting top talent to Kentucky is the only thing holding him back.

Sounds like they're circling back around to Mike Elko or going with interim HC Elijah Robinson. I think everyone knew aTm would botch this to no end.

What’s scummy about it? I heard months ago he told them to figure a conference out, not MWC, or he would leave and take 20 guys with him.
