Well, I mean, they still have to score the 31 points. That might take some effort.Weston wrote:From Microsoft Bing's "Copilot", an AI-powered chat bot, 12/25/23: "Bowl Game: The Ducks faced Liberty in the Fiesta Bowl, where they put up a valiant effort but fell short with a 31-34 score."
So, no need to watch on January 1. It's already been decided. Someone be sure to tell Lanning and the team. Wouldn't want them to waste their time and effort.

Can you lose to Liberty and "put up a valiant effort" at the same time???

for a fun AI exercise...ask it what your high school's mascot and colors are. I went to Willamette High (wolverines!) in Eugene. It told me the mascot was the black bears and our colors were green and blue the first time I asked it.

Looks like Oregon may be wearing their throwbacks for the Fiesta Bowl.

I was listening to an interview with Liberty's HC and he didn't say who would play, but did say they let all the transfer players know they could play in the game and intimated that some will. Not that it should make an actual difference for the outcome, but it is nice to see guys play in the bowl games.

These ones literally got voted as one of the worst unis in college football when we used them. I hope this is the last time we see them for years.
