Re: UCLA @ Oregon (3 game series)
As of May 3, UCLA is #7 nationally with a 2.45 team era, and we are #14 with a 2.81 team era.
Also as of May3, we are #259 nationally in scoring (4.3 runs per game); UCLA is 249 with 4.5 runs per game.
Anybody else expect quick, 90 minute 1-0 defeats all weekend?

No, since there's always a game that turns into a scorefest.oregontrack wrote:As of May 3, UCLA is #7 nationally with a 2.45 team era, and we are #14 with a 2.81 team era.

Well, that's why Gerrit Cole is going to be the #1 overall pick in the draft. College kids just don't hit 98 mph.
Anderson was shaky from the start, which is too bad. Everyone's due, I guess.
Hopefully Boer can get us back on track.

Not going to get much better today with Bauer starting for UCLA. Only hope is for the offense to get going with an error or two.oregontrack wrote:Well, that's why Gerrit Cole is going to be the #1 overall pick in the draft. College kids just don't hit 98 mph.

I do too, Boer is like last year's Felix Hernandez. Downright unhittable but has a horrible W/L record because he gets no run production.duckgrad99 wrote:I feel bad for our starting pitching this season.
I mean, we knew that would happen this weekend. I wasn't joking when I said we'd probably lose three consecutive 1-0 games. That we've scored 2 runs this series is somewhat of a surprise.
