That's a legitimate schedule, full of bumps and bruises. Ducks can't be taking any games off, like last year, or they'll be BURIED. The good thing is that our RPI and SOS should be extremely high; a similar record to last year's 33-26 would likely land us in the Tournament.

The Nike Showcase looks awesome.

According to the RG, Sam Johnson will miss the year with should surgery. If you've read my past threads, you know I was expecting him to play a decent role (likely) out of the 'pen this year, maybe as a midweek starter. INF Jordan Spencer and P/INF Scott Heineman, both freshman, also suffered injuries in fall ball, but I think they're expected back by the Spring.

Kuedell and Jones are still expected to anchor the starting staff, and our sophomore group (Healy/Jones/Thomas/Garlick) are still the heart of the lineup. We hired away Arizona's hitting coach, who has long been putting together stacked offensive lineups in Tucscon. JJ Altobelli has officially moved from 3B to SS.
