4-1 with a quality road win over the Thunder. Keep Blazers chatter in here.

A couple solid wins over OKC and the Lakers sure makes this team looks good.

Seriously, both very nice wins. Let's see if this can continue. I really do like how many offensive threats we have now. I kinda like being balanced rather than constantly just going through Roy and LA. Feels like someone different can put up 30 every night.
I love Gerald too.

Ugly game against a bad Phoenix team tonight. Let's see if they can rebound from this loss.

Good win over Cavs, I think blazers could be a top 4 seed this year. Good test coming up though with games at home against Orlando and LAC.

Nate's gotta start putting in the scrubs early than 3 minutes left in blowouts like that. Help give the main guys needed rest so some freak injury doesn't happen and because the only way we'll really see how some of these young guys pan out is to play them. I wish we'd play Chris Johnson for a few minutes in the first half when we've got plenty of scorers on the court so he can start being given "real" minutes at the 5.UOducksTK1 wrote:Good win over Cavs, I think blazers could be a top 4 seed this year. Yup I agree, especially in a crammed season.Duck07 wrote:Nate's gotta start putting in the scrubs early than 3 minutes left in blowouts like that. Blazers not doing very good on this road trip, but at least beat NOH. Another toughy tonight at Alanta. Hopefully Jcraw shows up against his ex-team.

Oden under the knife again. I doubt we ever see him in a Blazer uni again.
He did earn a quarter mil per game played over the last 5 years ($20 mil/82 games).

Just saw Kenjon at the Blazers Nuggets game, probably watching his cousin Andre Miller. Blazers looking good towards end of thrid up 15, they are just two completly different teams home and road for whatever reason.

Beat Thunder and Rockets at home, and we'll be fine. The road game wins will start coming.

Nice call Scott Foster. You were the trail official making a call at the rim and video replay shows - you messed up. Win it in OT.

Re: Blazers 2011-2012 Season
Simply put: pathetic showing by Portland. Forget about Foster's call, there was a point in the 3rd where Portland practically gave the ball to Westbrook 4-5 times in a 5 minute period and said "here, go dunk that ball uncontested against us."

Re: Blazers 2011-2012 Season
Blazers got outrebounded by 20, was absolute terrible effort on the hustle plays. That goaltending call was real bad, but blazers should've still won or at least show more hustle on the boards.

Re: Blazers 2011-2012 Season
portland needs to blow it up.
seriously, the entire franchise. i know their hands were forced with injuries to roy and oden. but this simply isn't working. portland is too good to get a good pick and rebuild through the draft, and their not good enough to make it past the first round. this is called nba purgatory, and it's the absolute worst possible place to be. you can't move up, you can't move down.
build around LMA, keep batum if you can. i have nothing against wallace, matthews, felton, etc. i'm sure they're nice people and exceptional basketball players in their own right. together, this just doesn't work.
