Mike Yastrzemski, the RF for Vandy, is the grandson of Carl (Michael) Yastrzemski, the 18 time all-star, and 7 time Golden Glove winner. Carl was also the first 400 HR hitter in the American League.

jake reed was fantastic, again.

we're doing a great job of capitalizing on opponent's mistakes and then playing solid hortonball in the later innings to tack on insurance runs.

reed was pitching really well. cold and windy out there today but sat through the game. Ducks look really good right now.

With a win tomorrow I feel like we should take Oregon State's spot in the polls.
All three teams we have played are quality teams with real chances of winning their leagues.

Uh - Babe Ruth or Ted Williams might have an argument, there. ;)
