IMO St. Joes and LSU are out 100%. Dayton is most likely out as well. Miami still has a shot. And NW, who freaking knows. Most overrated team IMO.frogsnouts wrote:As did Northwestern, LSU and Miami. Are any of the 5 losers definetly out now? Besides conference tournaments results, of course.

Northwestern made a run and tied the game against a very good Ohio State team with only 7 seconds left. If Northwestern loses to Iowa, then I think they're out.UOducksTK1 wrote:IMO St. Joes and LSU are out 100%. Dayton is most likely out as well. Miami still has a shot. And NW, who freaking knows. In addition to the game above ^, Virginia and Washington play today. Having both win can only help us.UOducksTK1 wrote:One not as important game Thursday:

Nor does the Pac-12 have an apparent automatic lock in his list either.UOducksTK1 wrote:http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball ... tch_030112

Arizona still over Oregon, but Oregon is climbing up. I really feel like 3 more wins is the magic number.. It'll be tough but we can do it.
Arizona RPI 68
Oregon RPI 44
Oregon better record
Oregon won head-head on the road
Go figure. I feel like when it comes down to picking teams, the committee will want to send 3 Pac-12 teams in. I really think Arizona losing to ASU could be our biggest help for out ticket in.

There is absolutely no reason Arizona should be in right now over Oregon.

None of this matters, we can beat every team in the Pac 12 tourney. Win and we are in, I also think this team could surprise and make a run in the NCAA if we get in. The Pac 12 needs all our teams to make a run to the sweet 16 to maybe regain some respect.

I hope the Pac 12 does well, but I would put the over-under for NCAA tournament victories for the Pac at 2.buckmarkduck wrote:None of this matters, we can beat every team in the Pac 12 tourney. Re: Who to root for the final regular season week
Assuming the Ducks finish the season with another 4 wins in the PAC, what sort of seeding will they get?
To gain any level of respect, the PAC needs to get more than 1 team into the Sweet 16, plus land at least 1 in the Elite 8, and have great OOC performance next year. Anything less probably gives the pundits ammunition for continued abuse.
