i keep waiting for jake reed to hit the freshman wall, but he's still going strong. another solid outing.

brett thomas cannot bunt. but damn, can he hit. earlier in the game, he struck out bunting in a failed sacrifice attempt, and horton tried to get him to bunt garlick into scoring position again in the 8th. but after failing to get the bunt down on his first two pitches, he swung away and drove in garlick with a game-tying double.

GREAT to see heineman go 3/3. he was really struggling at the plate going into today.

tessar has been great his last two starts, let's go for the sweep!
