9-6 isn't that bad considering irvine is a top 10 team at least they hit some

They are ranked #1 in one poll, the Ducks were up in the 7th and then the Ducks gave up 4 so that is not too bad!

overall it was a good showing vs a top 5 team.

Oregon gave up big runs late in a ball game again. I think they have done this a handfull of times this year. In a game or even up in a game going into the 7th or 8th and give up runs to lose the game....

Young team = no pitching depth = giving up late runs. Give it a year or two and we'll be fine

4-4 tie bottom of 8. ducks leave runners on corners in top of 8

Here's a Question....Ducks have runners on in the bottom of the 7th. Mitch Karraker is 2-3 with 3 rbi's yet Horton pulls him and puts in a pitch hitter! Your hottest hitter in this game is coming to bad and you pitch hit for him with a runner in scoring postion! Just wondering why that is?

We let another one get away today....let's hope these guys learn from this, this will hopfully make these players stronger for the next couple years!

it had to do with there being a left handed pitcher. though he had already hit a 2 run single off the same pitcher earlier. I understand the reasoning though don't agree with it
