Interesting article about Iowa State. Hopefully Oregon can snag him. We need the depth.

Wouldn't it have been nice if Kazemi had that mid range shot?

"At first he was disappointed and a little emotional about it, but I reminded him quickly that it is a big business and this happens," Peery said. "There's no hard feelings. He and Coach Hoiberg are fine. Now he's trying to find a new home."
Correct, because the NCAA is absolutely not concerned with the student side of student-athletes, they're concerned with the business side of the athletes.

He only has one year so he'd be just like Tarik Black in being a stop-gap player until Altman gets another recruiting class in.

Might say something about governing bodies generally...

That was quick. Sounds like he was up in Spokane on June 15th. Nothing on his Twitter feed about being in Eugene but I suspect he was probably here either Sunday or Monday. Good pick-up this late in the game to add some post depth.

? Never hurts to have depth, especially up front. You can never have enough skilled big men.

Watch his highlights. Solid athleticism, really nice midrange game, appears to be a good offensive rebounder and has a nose for the ball. He also has above average handles for a big man and pretty nice footwork in the post. More of a power forward than a center.

Could be great in pick and pop and pick and roll with Artis
“If everybody in this room just want to be real with themselves, this game could have went either way,” he said. “We turned the ball over a lot. We beat ourself. Just be real with yourself right now. We beat ourself.”

Perfect weather Saturday and Sunday. The campus was geared up for graduation and there were lots of students and families walking the campus and out in the sun. That weekend alone would be convincing.

Teams like Arizona St, Gonzaga, and Kansas St were all interested. I will gladly take another big man.

Really? We need some post depth, and he was pretty highly recruited. I'm getting a little tired of one and dones, but we can use him.
