He not only won, he set the meet record.....as a freshman that doesn't even concentrate on track full-time. This guy is a phenom.

Can't wait to see him Blount hurdle someone at 60 miles an hour.

If he's anywhere near as special on the field as he is on the track we are in for some fun! That was an amazing win against some tough talent.

Oregon men win with 88 points. Women finish 3rd behind TAMU and Texas, too many injuries for the girls.

Devon Allen may have some hard choices to make in the next year. He is a world class talent in the 110HH at only 18 or 19. Does his football talent match his track ability? Next fall will be interesting. Mel Renfro is the only Oregon guy that approaches this kids talent level and that is going back a lot of years.

His time today would have placed him 4th at the 2012 Olympics and 3rd at the 2013 World Championships. Not bad for a FR who was doing the sport only part-time for most of the season.

If Chip Kelly doesn't leave for the Eagles, Devon Allen would have never received a football offer and likely would have ended up at UCLA or Stanford.

His performance was amazing...Granted, it may have helped to be running at home, but....lets face it, Devon was running against top notch competition...and really showed his stuff, in a major way.....
I love these track meets, whether they be Olympic Trials, NCAA Championships, Prefontaine Classic, or the invitational....Brings back memories of yesteryear and the successes that the Oregon Duck Program has enjoyed....No matter how much things change, some things remain the same.....
