if they win the regional and UCLA wins theirs, they will play UCLA best two out of three series. UCLA is the only team to win the series vs ducks in conference play. I saw a stat the seniors have only lost two conference series in their four years.

baylor is an absolutely brutal draw in the regional round. the bears are 43-12, and have the #13 rpi in the country.

Kind of a brutal draw. If we get by Baylor, UCLA is no slouch, and probably a team worthy of making the WCWS

If the Ducks are going to make any noise in the WCWS, they might as well get used to playing good competition in the early rounds. It will either improve them (hopefully) or show they still aren't ready to compete for a national championship.

i don't think there's any question this team won't win a national championship. there are probably four teams in the sec better than oregon is, to say nothing of michigan and oklahoma.

Pac-12 record. She's had an impressive career, no doubt about that.

6-0 ducks win, Cherdian gave up a single with one out in seventh as her only hit allowed.

ducks win 8-1, face UCLA this next weekend. UCLA won two out of three vs ducks during the regular season, the only team to win a series vs ducks in conference play the last two seasons.

while i don't think we'll win the championship, because florida once again looks to be just a step above everybody else, i will walk back this earlier commentary. hawkins was as good as she's ever been this weekend, and she's had some pretty awesome hot streaks in her career. baylor was the ONLY rpi top 16 team to not host a regional (they were #13) -- they're so good that not only were they pissed they had to travel to eugene, coach white was upset we had to play them this early. i don't think anyone in the country got as good of a regional test as we did, and the gals aced it.

I think they only gave up that one run in the sixth in all their games combined, Hawkins was on top of her game for sure.
