Yeah, I recorded that earlier and just got done watching it. Ches is still King and Devon Allen easily qualified for the finals in the hurdles with the fastest time in the semis, but didn't make it in the 200.

I don't think we're going to be a title this year but I'd love to be proved wrong. It's looking like a second place finish for both the men and women according to the current form charts.

The updated FloTrack form chart has Oregon squeaking out a title over LSU and Florida. Texas A&M, No.1 coming into the meet, lost a bunch of points when they botched an exchange in the 4x100 prelims.

Arkansas projected to run away with the women's title. Ducks a distant third.

Just no depth this year. Besides Ches and Allen, they didn't really have many other scorers. With who they recruited and who's likely coming back, they should be better able to contend for the title.

Will Ches be back for sure next year, or is there a risk of him turning pro? Ches and Devon Allen would provide a great foundation for the team, particularly if Allen improves in the 200 and can provide some points in that event as well. The team definitely needs to develop more overall depth though.

Ches has said that he is coming back next year. Allen is coming back for football, so hopefully that means he will also be back for track. Hopefully he can stay free from injuries.

Oregon women making a push, even if it is a bit late, they've had a big mishap in the 4x400 relay, and they're limping into a loaded 4x100 relay (edit: they took 3rd, which is remarkable considering they were missing two runners that helped set a school record earlier this season.) Ariana Washington was able to win the 100m and Raevyn Rogers was able to repeat as the 800m champion.

Washington just won the 200m with the 2nd fastest time in school history, making her the first FR in NCAA history to do that double. Makes up a bit for Cunliffe not scoring in either event but losing out on those valuable points that an extra scorer could have provided may be the deciding factor in the title, especially with no 4x400 relay team and Arkansas favored in that event.

Arkansas wraps up the women's team title by winning the 5000 so looks like Oregon has locked up 2nd place with 62 total points. Not bad considering all the things that have gone wrong for the women the past week. If Oregon hadn't had such bad luck, they likely could have contested the title in the 4x400.

Yeah, there were some amazing performances by the Oregon women today. Assuming these young ladies all come back healthy, I can't imagine the Oregon women not being the favorites to win it all next year.
