Sepdxsnwbdr, Colvin is my old roommate, I know all about DLS, which is why I can confidently say that keeping NA around simply for recruiting is an absolute waste
If a coach of any sort, especially a coordinator, is kept around simply because of recruiting ties then something is wrong. NA showed pretty good improvement & willingness to change up his schemes this year. Now he needs to continue that & we need to see even better things from our D next year. If not, we need to find someone else.
IMO, NA has kinda peaked & is only capable of so much. Good example is our blitzes. It was nice to see us finally dial up more than 1 or 2 blitzes a game but at the same time, the blitzes we ran were pretty weak & unimaginative. He needs to continue to simplify the D schemes & find better ways to pressure the QB.
