Re: Brandon McCoy Update
I think we sit well with him considering he's made official and unofficial visits here.
As for his ranking, I personally think it's a little too high. He looks very raw in the limited clips I've seen. I will be very happy to land him though.

Brandon, please come and show the team how to box out and rebound the basketball. Especially after free throws.

We had 43 rebounds, Carolina had 43.whosyourwally wrote:Brandon, please come and show the team how to box out and rebound the basketball. Especially after free throws.

People will fixate on it, but the TO's and poor outside shooting cost us the game today.

Exactly, we did fine overall. The last two will really sting us for a while, but Brooks didn't show up and our shooting was poor in the second half. Turnovers killed us too.

Re: Brandon McCoy Update
Agreed with both, yes rebounds weren't the problem, but Bell taking a couple of rebounds off and not blocking out cost us a chance at winning the game. But we wouldn't have needed those if we shot better and made good decisions all game long. This will be a lesson for all returning and future ducks. But yes, please come McCoy! He'd be a HUGE get!

Or someone could transfer, could you imagine if Sorkin transferred, all three came back, and we also got McCoy?!cordy02c wrote:one of the big three have to leave for us have room

Re: Brandon McCoy Update
We will make room regardless of what the big three do. Sorkin or Cage would probably transfer.
If somehow all 3 came back and we got McCoy on top of our class right now, we'd easily be #1 preseason. Wouldn't even be close.
PG - Brown
SG - Dorsey
SF - Brooks
PF - Bell
C - McCoy
That would just be unfair

Cage possibly too. Any way, there will be room. No way Dana lets McCoy slip.

Re: Brandon McCoy Update
Doubt Cage would transfer. He would benefit by staying if Bell returns since it'd allow KBW the ability to redshirt.
