Altman's continued relationship with Oklahoma coach Lon Kruger has resulted in them scheduling another closed scrimmage, once again taking place in Las Vegas on Nov. 4th.

Nice find, gy, especially since neither the RG or Oregonian are yet reporting it. Looks like the Sooners are perceived similar to the Ducks, receiving votes in the Coaches Top 25 (19 votes to the Ducks' 12). Hopefully some info will leak out about what transpires.

Altman talked about it briefly in an interview yesterday but it seems no one else felt the need to write a story about it.

Any word on this game? I can barely find any info on it.

And you likely won't as it's a closed scrimmage. About the only thing you'll hear is either from what's been heard through the grapevine or Oregon releases anything on it.

Yeah, I understand. Last year we heard later in the day that Oklahoma had won a close game though.

Looks like we won in a close one.

Pretty cool to be beating a solid opponent this early with a team full of new faces. The ceiling for the team this year is crazy high. We're gonna surprise a lot of people. I'd bet anything we finish above 4th in the conference, where we were predicted.

I'll agree, and I think I've heard that since Altman has been the coach, the Ducks have always exceeded the media's prediction.

Would have really enjoyed seeing Payton and Trae Young going against one another.
