Looks like AJ Hotchkins is going to use this season as a medical redshirt and then be a grad transfer at another school. It's not like it really opens up another scholarship since he was a SR most had them replacing already in this current class.

How does it not open a spot. If he coulf claim a medical transfer then he can play another year for oregon too

Because people already factored him in when calculating available scholarships for next year (he's a senior).
