Altman discusses recruiting class

Dana Altman held a press conference where he talked about the full recruiting class. As usual, he's humble and doesn't want to get too excited.

PG: Pritchard/Johnson
SG: Bailey/Richardson
SF: King/Kigab
PF: White/Williams/Smith
C: Bol/Wooten/Cage
Well count me in too. That's two votes, think that's enough to make him stay?OreDucks01284 wrote:T.Brown...id like to see him stay for another year to play with Bol.

I like Norris A LOT.GrandpaDuck wrote:Duck07 wrote:We can get excited for him! Plus isn't there one more coming in possible? Or do we save the spot for another grad transfer? You've left out Norris. That's seven 4-5s If I were to add to that roster it would be at guard.
As mentioned above Norris needs to be added here. Also above, it may be wishful thinking but there’s certainly a decent chance that Troy Brown stays an additional year.Duck07 wrote:We can get excited for him! Well said. Exactly what I am thinking ^^ Team can be scary good next year with him and the depth Ducks will have coming off the bench. Oh boy, final 4 again?GrandpaDuck wrote:Well count me in too. Seriously though; I'm telling you there's a chance {insert Dumb and Dumber gif here}. After Dorsey's first few games I thought he was one and done for sure, then conference play kind of clipped his wings a little.
As a fan it's a weird feeling watching guys like T. Brown. I find myself rooting for him to be good but not too good. The planets are aligning for 2018-19 if somehow he stayed, look out.
Yeah - I’m with you. Most likely will end up having room for 2 more to add to next years team whether that’s due to Brown declaring or someone transferring after seeing all this young talent come in.greenyellow wrote:There's at least one open scholarship even after these signees and there'll likely be either a transfer or one-and-done so I could see them potentially adding 1-2 more players. Altman and his staff are always recruiting so they're not going to be caught off-guard or flat-footed.
Was it Tom Izzo who recommended Dan Altman to UO?Phenom wrote:The way that Altman handles roster change is extraordinary.
Crazy to think he was our 4th or 5th option.
I could be wrong but I believe it was Lon Kruger. But Izzo may have mentioned him to Kilkenny as well.OreDucks01284 wrote:Was it Tom Izzo who recommended Dan Altman to UO?Phenom wrote:The way that Altman handles roster change is extraordinary.
