Based on the headline in their forum section, it looks like it's Darrian McNeal. Lessens some of the overall WR depth this season but helps solve some of the logjam at slot and opens up another scholarship spot for the 2019 class.

That's too bad. Best of luck to the kid and his family.
I do wonder if playing time was an issue with Mitchell moving to the slot and Redd coming on late in the season.

based on some things from other sources it appears that it is mainly due to the family health matters. Has to be tough for Darrian but of course family always comes first. Hope he is able to finish school close to home.

Kinda figured it was some type of family medical issue since he was really enthusiastic about everything Oregon had to offer.

Man bummer for him. Hope is bro's health improves and McNeal is able to bounce back somewhere else.
